Fundraiser

We are looking for a skilled Fundraiser to raise funds for our agency. Initially, this post is for one year.

Pay Scale: SJC, Point 25-27 (currently £22,257 - £23,697)

5 days (35.75 hours) a week.

Deputy Manager

Health Opportunities Team are a charity working to improve the emotional and sexual health of young people in Edinburgh.

We are looking for a skilled Deputy Manager to support delivery of sexual/mental health services for young people in Edinburh.  

Pay Scale:  £29,528 - £31,160, 5 days (35.75 hours) a week, with potential for some evening work.

(Post is subject to PVG Disclosure and is part funded by City of Edinburgh Council)

We would like to hear from you if...

  • You have experience of supervising therapeutic workers
  • You have a proven track record of coordinating delivery of services
  • You have proven track record of providing high quality therapeutic
    1-1 and group work with young people 
  • You have a proven track record of delivering sexual health and emotional wellbeing programmes and drop-ins
  • You are passionate about working with young people
  • You have energy and commitment
  • You are up for the challenge of working in a busy voluntary sector agency
  • You think you can gain the respect and co-operation of groups of teenagers in a variety of settings
  • You are a dynamic and creative team player

Sessional Workers

(subject to PVG)

Health Opportunities Team is looking for skilled and experienced Sessional Workers to engage with young people and to deliver a
range of sexual/emotional/physical health project work to young people (12-25). 

Sessional staff are employed for discrete and time-limited projects, arranged according to organisational need, so work may be irregular and may not be ongoing.

Rates of pay are as follows:
£8.62 per hour when doing training, £13.66 per hour when delivering services and £16.79 per hour when leading on projects.

  • Have experience of providing therapeutic work for young people,

Pay Scale: £24,459 – £26,235 (pro rata), 4 days (28.6 hours) a week
with some evening work required.
