Benjamin Napier - Chair Person
Benjamin is currently Chief Executive of Citizens Advice Edinburgh. Benjamin began his career as a Children and Families Social Worker and has worked in Northern Ireland, Shetland and Edinburgh, both as a Social Worker and Team Leader. Benjamin moved into the voluntary sector in 2007 and has worked for the NSPCC as a Childline Services Manager and latterly as the ChildLine School’s Service Manager for Scotland, where he developed and introduced a national child protection awareness raising service for primary schools across Scotland. Before taking up his current post, Benjamin was Head of Service Development for Capability Scotland. Benjamin brings a focused mind and a wealth of experience in child protection and management of children and young peoples’ services.
Ilona Roberts - Trustee
Ilona has been working as an actuary in Edinburgh’s financial service industry since 2003 and currently runs her own actuarial consultancy. She joined the HOT board in June 2016. Ilona lives in Portobello with her husband and two children, and enjoys running in her spare time.
Pauline McLeod - Trustee
Pauline is a Senior HR Professional with a background in the Oil and Gas Sector where she worked for several years. More recently she has been working in the HE sector since 2008. She has run her own coaching and interview business and specialises in workplace mediation. Pauline brings her wide range sector experience to continue the great work and successes of HOT.
